The Jerusalem Theater of Chamber Opera “Aeterna Opera” was founded in the year of 2003. Its birth was marked by the staging of the opera “L’Impresario” by W.A. Mozart. The theater has immediately shown its high professionalism. Wonderful decorations, splendid costumes, amazing illumination, and, what’s the most important, outstanding voices and high level of the actor performance - the staging had it all. It was accompanied by a chamber orchestra, conductor Ilya Plotkin, staging director Igor Markov.
The Jerusalem chamber choir “Musica Aeterna” founded by Ilya Plotkin in the year of 1996, has immediately won the hearts of the music adorers of Israel. The choir represents unique synthesis of wonderful voices of the singers with the highest musical erudition, culture and professionalism. Thanks to the energy, talent and brilliant conductor technique of the leader of the choir Ilya Plotkin the collective has become one of the leading choirs in Israel. Ensemble unity, virtuosity of intonations and timbre variety are the traits that have defined the uniqueness of the choir since its foundation.
The Jerusalem Philharmonic organizes concerts all over the country. Musicians from all the cities and towns of Israel offer an exigent Israeli spectator great range of music programs: from the baroque music to modernity, from kleizmer to jazz. Singers, violinists, violoncellists, oboists, clavecinists – it is impossible to enumerate all the musical instruments that can be heard during the concerts.

The Jerusalem Theater chamber opera collective “Aeterna Opera” was founded in 2003. Its birth was marked by the staging of the opera “L’Impresario” by W.A. Mozart. The theater has immediately shown its high professionalism. Wonderful decorations, splendid costumes, amazing illumination, and, most importantly, outstanding performances – the staging had it all. It was accompanied by a chamber orchestra, The soloists of the “Aeterna Opera” are: Ekaterina Chepeleva, Shirelle Dashevsky, Julia Plakhina, Dmitri Semenov, Boris Karbet, Andrey Trifonov, Alexei Kanunikov, Julia Frenkel, Veronika Greis, and Izhak Pekar. The conductor is Ilya Plotkin. The set designer is Irina Tkachenko. The actors of the theater perform all over the country – in theaters, concert halls and various festivals. Twice a year, during the festival in Abu Gosh, the soloists of the “Aeterna Opera” perform before an audience of many thousands. The series of concerts “Magic Opera” has been a great success.

During a short period the choir mastered a rich repertoire of the Russian and Western liturgical music. The concerts of the choir are always very successful. Excellent, high-class professional soloists, and the talent of Ilya Plotkin are the main reasons for the impetuous rise of the collective.
The Jerusalem Philharmonic organizes a series of concerts over the country
The Keshet Amanuyot (Rainbow Arts) trust fund organizes concerts in various concert halls around the country. Each Sunday the Italian monastery Beit Jemal (near Beit Shemesh) hosts classical and jazz concerts. Every autumn there is an international festival in Netanya, "Treasures of the Guitar." Interesting festivals, combining classical and light music are held in the Harmony Concert Hall in Jerusalem. Recently, a music salon called "Art Boutique" opened in the picturesque district of Jerusalem, Moshava Germanit. On the last Thursday of each month classical music lovers can enjoy beautiful music performed by professionals of the highest quality from our country and abroad.

Association Keshet Amanuyot been involved in various projects in several areas of musical culture. The main directions of today are the operatic projects, choral, jazz and chamber music. One of the tasks osnyvnyh Association is to support musicians returnees.
